Strength With Purpose

Classes tailored especially for older adults

These inter-related elements are the bedrock of the STRENGTH WITH PURPOSE program. It has been designed specifically for people over 55, no matter what their level of fitness

So, how’s it work?

I use weight training and weight training techniques designed to maximise mobility and strength and minimise joint and muscle injuries incurred during normal day to day activity.

Practical skills for daily life

As well keeping people moving, I do a lot of work on balance – a skill that can be learned and maintained. This, along with agility, is the core of our class warmup. The net benefit is increased kinaesthetic awareness – an improvement in the way people navigate the space around them.

Movement is the key to leading an active, independent life
