I spent years “training with the boys” and also “training like a bloke”. As a result, I sustained some pretty nasty injuries which still plague me to this day.

Despite this, I still absolutely LOVE weight training and am still a HUGE believer in its overall benefits.

I certainly learned what NOT to do the hard way.

I’ve also learned how to work safely around a chronic injury and also know when it’s not safe to persist.

Getting older doesn’t mean stopping altogether. Movement is vital to our physical and mental well-being.

Physical strength offers freedom, safety, and confidence.
